Does anyone know a home remedy for arbitrarily (possibly grain) under the skin?

The doctor checked the bump / lump on the neck of my husband and said it is likely that only a hair grows inward. It was he listening for about 2 months. It is under the skin red and has a kind of hard spot in the middle. (which comes to mind)

Ginger extract hot compress. 1-2 drops of lavender oil.
