What causes urinary tract infection in dogs and what we can use to cure?

My neighbors dog Zoe has a urinary tract infection and was wondering Wahat causes and what to do if a home remedy!

I'm assuming that would be the same in all animals, but the bacteria in the hair around the opening where they urinate. My sister has to shave the male cat area there, because it has so many problems with urinary infections. Trimming your dog's hair is there down or take him to a barber who can shave the area. There is no cure or home remedy. Get taken care of with antibiotics of education and training, then take your dog to the hairdresser regularly and make sure your dog gets plenty of water.
