Walking through the islands of cat food section in any supermarket, you could be forgiven for thinking that all the major brands are offered food for cats more nutritious for a healthy cat.

Can you believe that advertising, the images beautiful and wise words of 'vets?

Not in your life!

Turn the pack or more of tin, and you see what constitutes "quality ingredients - meat byproducts.

Byproducts of the flesh are the net result of a processing plant. Take waste processing plants slaughter houses - usually heads, hooves, intestines (including content ...). Many also get their "raw material" of veterinary clinics (euthanasia dogs and cats), road deaths, zoo animals euthanasia or dead horses and the like.

This means not only the quality of the meat is very low, but your cat becoming a cannibal.

The chemical that is used to euthanised animals can not be broken down into the cooking process, which means that your cat is living on a diet of a substance deadly chemical.

Animal fat is a bit of a problem, as human beings tend not to eat much of it. So much goes into pet food. See what your butcher sold as pet food. A butcher told me that it is common practice to add beet juice to the fat and sold as pet food. If this is done openly, imagine what happens behind closed doors.

Do not risk the health of your cat, believing those with an interest that their product is nutritious cat food.

No doubt there are some manufacturers of ethics and conscience of cat food, they actually do real, nutritious cat food that is healthy. But these are often small and threaten large enterprises that buy them then, but retain the label.

For me, the best way to ensure your cat is always get a nutritious meal cat is doing it yourself. Buy raw materials and make meals in itself.

It really is not difficult. It just takes a little time while put your head around the notion. Then it's just a matter of repeating the same thing every week.

It is not even a long time. Once you have learned to do it once, simply repeating the same thing, although they differ in one or two ingredients to give your cat a variety.

The most nutritious cat food to ensure your cat has healthier life and longer possible, is when you care enough to buy each ingredient by its nutrient content and freshness.

After all, put a package of meat in your car is harder to put in a package of commercial cat food.
