Vegetarian and Pregnant - crazy?

I'm planning to get pregnant vegetarian. In most pregnancy sites say it's best to avoid nuts (which typically consume regularly) during pregnancy. However, in places where there are advice to pregnant vegetarians, suggesting that intake of fruits dry, as part of their diet to ensure you get all the vitamins and minerals. I'ma little confused now is fine to eat nuts during pregnancy or not?
