Cancer Goldfish?

I have a very large goldfish luxury 17 years of age who has a substantial tumor growth below its dorsal fin. He has lived with this for many years and still has a good quality of life. He swims well, eats, and everything else seems in excellent health. I have said repeatedly during the years he will die soon so "just put it down" but it seems so healthy and active, I can not stand ... and continues to prove them wrong. I very interested in anything I can do to slow or reverse the growth of cancer.
