pain at home cold remedies? and fear of contagion?

havnt had a cold sore in 3 or 4 years. i got the small blisters today and is a little painful. causes the ice cube and the alcohol really work? Also, I realize that has not been getting up this morning and one kissed me my boyfriend last night. I'm scared that maybe get one. im doing everything not touch things and wash your hands. im being careful and I told my boyfriend to kiss me doesn't. but now I'm terrified that he will get one somehow or her genital herpes. [Im thinking like somehow I put your hands after using the bathroom or something like that] I am really going crazy. help!
