Amla is the richest natural source of Vitamin C

Amla is one of the most widely used herbs in ayurveda. It is a powerful rejuvenating herb. The Amla fruit is said to have the highest content of vitamin C than any other natural substance in nature. Amla is naturally effective and it is an antioxidant with the richest natural source of vitamin C. The fruit contains more vitamin C in natural and cytokine like substances identified as zeatin, z. riboside and z.nucleotide. Its fruit is acrid, cooling, refrigerant, diuretic and laxative.

The English name of amla: Indian gooseberry, denotes that is indigenous to India. Although all parts of the tree have medicinal value, is the fruit that is the main drug. Charaka is specifically mentioned as a great rasayana that helps protect people from disease and keeps away the manifestations of premature aging.

Psyllium. Commonly made from banana fibers, psyllium may be taken daily as an effective digestive. Its main function is to regulate the intestinal transit and facilitate the passage of stool. It is often used to treat constipation, diverticulosis and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It is also known to reduce cholesterol. However, it is also known to cause stomach gas.

Methylcellulose. Methylcellulose is very similar to psyllium, except that it is synthetic. It is not digestible, remaining in the intestinal tract and retains water to soften the stool. Treat the same conditions as psyllium and diarrhea, due to fluid absorption qualities. It is also known to cause gas, although not as likely as psyllium.

Fortunately, there are several ways to get this powerful nutrient in your system. Some foods high in ascorbic acid are red peppers, broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage. It is also rich in fruits like Acai berries, oranges, strawberries and black currants. There are many other fruits and vegetables containing high levels of ascorbic acid.

Also, if you do not get enough fruits and vegetables in your diet, it is very easy to add a supplement of vitamin C.

Vitamin C is one of the most important nutrients of life. It is useful in preventing many diseases, and fortunately it is easy to add to your diet.

However, excessive doses of it has been shown to cause kidney problems, so it should not "enjoy more." It can also cause diarrhea and nausea. This is especially true when taking ascorbic acid as a supplement. You should definitely talk to your doctor or nutritionist before adding bulk to your diet.

Garlic is another great natural remedy to keep cholesterol and heart-related problems away. Garlic should be avoided in cases of high blood pressure, which can increase "Pitta." Therefore, it is recommended only in cases of high cholesterol, no blood pressure.
