What is the best time to take your vitamins?

I mean, what time of day? This is not a vitamin for pumping muscles or because they have the disease. Just a regular supplement to my daily needs. Is it the morning after breakfast? After lunch hours? Before going to bed? Or when I wake up? What time and often have is yours at all? I need your voice. And do not tell me I should get a prescription from a doctor or something.
