Why is my cat eats nonediables?

I'm so frustrated.I took him to the vet, who didn `t have clue.I have tryed different foods and vitamins.unfortunely is a fussy when it comes food.I can not find anything about this problem in books or internet.He eat all you can find in the soil, hair, lint, wood shavings, leaves, dry stone wall or fiberglass insulation.This causes usaully vomit.I keep making food available at any time if it is not because hungry.Please is help.
