Elderly woman needs vitamin K to the emergency room?
Mom just called, it should be a grandmother to the emergency room of vitamin K. Bloodwork's grandmother yesterday and he called this morning, very worried about something. A certain amount of something was 13, I think, was very high. Does anyone know what might be wrong with my grandmother? Mom has not had time to talk. Thank you!
Vitamin K is the antidote for Coumadin therapy. Coumadin is an anticoagulant. Could unless their INR (blood test measuring levels of Coumadin) was too high. The normal level that the documents would have to be about 2.5. You do not want blood is too thin. This increases the risk of internal bleeding.
