Vitamins Over 60

Herbal medicines/vitamins/enzymes etc.?

I've been taking food supplements, herbal remedies and some traditional products for some time. At present my body seems to be weakening rather rapidly i.e.I'm afraid to do much gardening, lifting etc. because of the effects on my joints. I have been quite active and move rather quickly as a rule and I am over 60. However I know that something unusual is happening as this is not so gradual as one would expect as we age. My question is - could it have something to do with soya milk with calcium added (i have 2 litres over 3 days), antacid powders to alkalise water + digestive enzymes (made up by biochemist). I'm aware that Calcium needs an acidic environment for absorption and try to take it or eat inbetween drinking alkaline water.
I am quite worried at present!

eeeeek, soya milk has a devastating affect on my system.... i'm severely intolerant to it ....... even if i wasn't i wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

so soya milk could definitely be causing your apparent rapid degeneration mate.... ditch it and eat more leafy and green and colorfull salad vegies instead ....... all spectacularly rich in both calcium and magnesium and also vitamin C..... in perfect harmony ....... as nature intended and all essential for effective calcium assimilation.........;0)

and as far as antacids go ..... plain and simple they'll destroy ALL the stomach acids ...... including hydrochloric acid which is essential in digestion ...... you need those to digest your food ....... ditch the antacid powders and hunt around for an affordable water filter.

eat more leafy and green vegies to boost your calcium intake... ie ~ kale, chard, celery, buk choy, broccolli (if you can tolerate cruciferous vegies) .... all specatcularly rich in calcium magnesium and vitamin C.... in perfect harmony as nature intended and easy for your system to assimilate.
